“I like to Twirl. Sometimes in Slow Motion.” Huh? Those who know me know that I’m not the twirling kind. I was never a girly-girl and am not sentimental, so why the name and why the blog?
The name of the Blog comes from a Kotex ad I saw a few months back that put me in stitches. I thought it was so funny that I made K watch it over and over again (I think at least 6 times). Scroll down and take a look at the video, in case you’re interested.
It’s sarcastic and a bit cynical, just like me. And the “twirl” part is completely contradictory to the person that I am, which suits me fine because I’m filled with contradictions too. I went to a Big 10 School but do not care for football. I have an accounting degree but ended up being a marketing professional. I’ve been living in the South for the past five years (and loving it), despite the fact that I had vowed to never leave NY/NJ area.
As far as the sentimental part…I find myself becoming more and more so after having my little girl. So this is a blog about my life with my hubby of eight years (K) and our little three-year old (EB). It serves as a way for me to capture little snapshots of EB, as well as a platform for me to voice my observations and sometimes vent (beware!).
